Connecting to the Objective

Students were asked to write a paragraph and deliver a brief presentation explaining how the "All About Me" project objective connects to their own lives. As expected, Music & Media students articulated the importance of effective communication skills when interviewing for a job, speaking with college recruiters, or simply placing an order at a restaurant. Many students recalled question #5 from the 10 Questions survey ("Do you consider yourself an introvert or extrovert?"), citing increased confidence as a benefit of effective communication skills. They explained that this confidence may make them more likely to approach others and engage in conversations. You can view a few of the presentations in the video below.
