Featured in this post > 2 Videos: 8th grade and 7th grade presentations > Project Sequence and Standards > Family Feedback Link The B-52's classic song, "Rock Lobster" served as the inspiration for our first collaborative project of the new school year. Students in Music & Media and Visual Arts hit the ground running with a fun unit that included critical listening and thinking (as always), analysis, writing, presentations (with an emphasis on effective communication skills), line study, paper cutting, and the creation of "Rock Lobster" Song Sculptures. Watch the two videos below to see a sample of our seventh and eighth grade students presenting their work. Below the videos you'll find information on the project sequence and related standards.
