Studying The Blues: Blues Poetry

Students referenced their source material to create and present poetry that demonstrated their understanding of the blues. Students were required to include at least five facts taken from their notes and table discussions, using the prompt "Blues is..." to kick start their poems. While a few students chose to develop their own style, most students used the "blues is" prompt in their work. Watch the video below to see a few examples.
